If that coin is an MS-69 than I'm the Queen of Scotland!!!
If that coin is Cameo and an MS-69 than I am King of the Universe!!!
Said it before and I'll say it again. With all the traps out there it's amazing people still collect coins.
However, that is a somewhat dark and grainy picture, to be fair. And the seller's description seems realistic enough.

OK, all hail the queen! (and the king of the universe.)
and it sets us apart from practitioners and consultants. Gregor

Yeah, right. If it really was as good as he says it is, that pup would have been cracked out and submitted in a New York minute.

Seller's reply...
That's not nice. This coin in MS-69 Cameo is not worth $20 I'm sorry to
inform you. You are entitled to your opinion, but you are wrong, go to
pcgs.com and look it up for yourself, and look it up on the Greysheet.
Sorry you wasted your time informing me of incorrect information.
I am a professional grader that was taught by the best. I took three
years of courses on Grading, and Counterfeit detection.
If I sent this coin into PCGS I know that if I didn't get an MS-69
grade, which I believe it would, and I use a microscope to examine all
my coins, bought or sold, it would come back an MS-68 AT LEAST, and in
that grade and with a cameo contrast, it is valued at $3000 by PCGS
itself. Like I said, look it up for yourself.
But no need to get back to me on it, I know the business, and have been
collecting for over 30 years, and as I noted in the item description, I
have been selling for about 5 years now. I have made an excellent
profit on my investments, because I know what I am doing. Unfortunately
for you, and any other individual that doubts the value of this coin,
which I offered a full money back guarantee, it will be your loss, not
mine. I'd be happy to keep it even if it doesn't sell, because of the
ignorance of individuals like yourself. If you knew the history that
surrounds this coin and how rare it is that one should come out MS-69
Cameo, then you would not have wasted my time and your time writing
incorrect info concerning its worth. Take care and be well. Tet7
<< <i>And if it should make only an MS-68 designation, it is worth $3000 with the Cameo designation. And this coin is a clear Cameo without a doubt! With white devices and Darker fields on both sides(the scans do not show the strong contrast between the fields on this coin and devices, but they are there and strong--the darker devices you see in the scan are caused by the powerful mirror-like surfaces, which have a tendency to make a scan come out dark, when the surface is white and mirror-like--anyone that has scanned proofs has undoubtedly had this experience). >>
Yeah, the cameo contrast is there! You just can't see it! It's because of the mirrors... That's right, the mirrors!!!!!! They hide the frost and make the scan show up dark.
Who is this guy trying to fool? Gee, I must have been born yesterday!
after the auction ends with a no sale, submit the coin to PCGS and if it comes back a 68Cameo I will buy it for $3000.00.
I really don't think he's going to respond?
it really gets me when sellers manipulate a coin's color and expect us not to notice that the holder insert color is wrong and hence, the coin color is wrong. unless this is an auction first, and the seller has de-enhanced the contrast for some as yet undisclosed reason and darkened the coin.
and another mental hotfoot----using the PCGS price guide to establish a price for a non PCGS coin. whatever. i say start the coin at $1 with a REAL picture/closeup and a no BS description and it will sell for $15-$35.

I would write the coin back and inform him that most grading classes would be stupid if they taught people to grade MS67 coins and higher with a microscope. And that there is a reason that PCGS does not have and ms69 or ms69cam coin listed on its pg, they will never make one. Ask him to compare the pops of PCGS and PCI on this coin. We should all write the guy and tell him if, er rather when his coin don't sell that we offer $20 for the coin.
