It may only be a 96/97 topps chrome basketball set but i just added 7 nines and 8 tens!!! Im one happy camper, ill have to see what my new rating is but i may take over the no 1 spot again! Well Im excited and i feel like celebrating.image

    There are loads of sets from the past decade that would be great challenges to compile as a high-grade set, with many of the various chromium issues being at the top of the list, even if they are resistant to a lot of the problems regular cardboard has. The 96-97 TChr Basketball set will only appreciate in stature as lesser sets come and go. I've been tempted to start a set like 2001 Heritage or 95 Bowman's Best baseball, it's just a matter of money.

    BTW, the weighting on the 96-97 set seems odd. Kobe is 10, fine, but Jordan is 1? A Jordan is no more important than a Priest Lauderdale or Joe Kleine? Maybe a little more subtlety is required there.
