Buying early uncertified gold is pretty risky business and especially from a widow who only knows only that its from her husbands estate.

classic gold is about the only thing i'd collect if i were going to collect gold at all. check your price guide - esp. quarter eagles. they are heavily underpriced.

regardless of the silliness of the ad, that coin looks borderline AU & very original, & is priced right.
