Here is a 1795 large cent, which is slabbed by ANACS as F15 (go to the bottom example on the page).
1795 1C
I bought this coin because I think that it is particularly nice for the grade as compared to others I’ve seen. It looks a lot better to me than some higher grade coins that are much more expensive. There are so many early coppers that have corrosion, dents, or are just unattractive. I trust ANACS’ and the dealer’s opinion of the grade. PCGS, however, refused to cross it at the same grade, F15, so I wanted to see if anyone could offer any comments. There’s no picture of the reverse, but it looks just as nice, with about 25% of the ribbing showing in the leaves.
Thanks,
Dan
