49 Paige problems

I just submitted a 49 Bowman Paige card to PSA that was close, if not better than a 7 condition. I just saw the post that it's not to be graded due to "evidence of trimming".

I'm quite frustrated and am fed up with the whole grading process. I know it's not PSA's fault, but I'm getting tired of this. I have had some issues in the past (I won't bother going into detail here), but now I have 4 free submissions that I don't feel as if I'll ever use.

I'm planning to remove all my sets from the registry and sell off my 50bowman collection (baseball and football)

I met a bunch of nice people in the past month I've been on these boards.
Good luck to you all

  • I share in your agony and frustration, as, I am sure. do many others here. I had cracked open a 1954 Kaline ( SGC 86 ) and sent it to PSA and got it back with a notation that it had been "altered". After some effort I was able to get an explanation from PSA stating that it looked like someone had possibly erased something on the lower left border. The person that had sold the card to me is well known to this board and he and I have had many transactions together. I told him of the PSA comments and he was as shocked as I. There was NOTHING wrong with the border. Anyway, sent it to Beckett and got it back as a 7. It will now stay in that slab. Too bad -- I wanted it for the Registry.
  • since this post, i've gotten some emails with the similar grumblings and support.
