Opinions on EBay seller 'keldos' and a Walking Liberty Half...

airplanenutairplanenut Posts: 22,148 ✭✭✭✭✭
I am thinking about this auction. The sellers feedback looks stellar, but I would like to know if anyone has dealt with him. Also, what do you think of the half? I think it looks pretty nice, but is it likely that I could find an even nicer 64 walker soon? Looks white and lustrous IMO.

Thanks,

Jeremy

  • He has listed a number of NGC certified walkers and they seem to go out without bids consistently/ I have been wanting to buy an NGC 1947 which he has for sale, but at $50.00 plus $6.00 shipping and handling, it's overpriced by about 30%.

I have never dealt with him, would like to buy his coins, just not willing to overspend for them.

I sent him an email offering to buy the 47 if it goes out unbid again. Never had the courtesy to return the email.

Boy, 64 Walkers are popular these days!

Looks a little baggy to me, though, Jeremy, both fore and aft. You may be able to do nicer for the grade.

Edited to add: . . . and some little spots of brown toning, that detract. (Maybe residue from the dip Russ noted(?))

Back when I was buying rolls of '64 business strike JFK's, I grabbed several from this seller. Packaged well, shipped quickly.

    Jeremy,

It's always hard to tell on these when the seller uses a scanner, but that one looks over-dipped to me. The '45 P mint is one that can be found in MS64 with plenty of luster left for the same money he's asking. I'd take a pass on this one.

Kelso- I saw those but figured he had a LOT of positives to make up for them. Dipping was in the back of my mind, so I think I will pass.
