What do you think about my new

Ebay policy. (My New Ebay Policy)

Positive feedback will be left for the buyer upon receipt of payment. The lack of feedback or an email confirming receipt of coin from the buyer within 10 days of me shipping the coin will void any stated return policy. Your feedback allows me to close the transaction and proceed with other important business. The lack of it ties up the funds required to conduct business waiting on buyers.

What you think?

Well he states it plain and simply. I have no problem with that. I always leave feedback as soon as the coin arrives regardless of what the seller does. And on the other side I always leave feedback the day the payment arrives. Works for me, in 300+ transactions, no negatives or neutrals. You have 5-7 days to email him if you have a problem with the item. Surely you can figure that out within that period.

I've always left feedback as soon as I got the $$ but it sucks now that eBay says I have to do it.
And if I buy from a bad seller all he has to do is say that I didn't email him that I received the coin so he doesn't have to honor a return policy? How can eBay dictate a dealer's return policy? After all, eBay is just a venue for buyers & sellers to get together.

As a buyer what in the heck do I do if I'm unhappy with a coin?
I'm sposed to leave him good feedback and hope he makes good on a bad deal?
Or I'm sposed to leave him neg for a problem coin and that's sposed to make him REALLY happy to make the deal right?

Better for the PowerSellers but worse for us little buyers. That really stinks!!
Change that we can believe in is that change which is 90% silver.
  • Mike,

That is my new policy. I always leave positive feedback as soon as payment is made. I really get feed up when I am left sitting 2 weeks after I sent the coin wondering if the buyer has even gotten the thing yet. I offer a return policy and not knowing ties up the money waiting. My luck after 3 weeks he will pop up and want to return it expecting me to honer the return policy.
No big deal on small items but when you have to hold a few grand it really gets frustrating. I have coins to buy.image

  • Dog,

As stated in the policy "the lack of feedback OR an email" will void the return policy.
If someone has a problem they just have to email me and let me know and I will return their money or post positive feedback and let me close the deal on my end and move on.

Yes a negative feedback without even an email to give me the chance to make it right would piss me oof.
