question on a recent purchase

I love this coin. It'll go nice with my bust dime I have presently. But...Does the hairline scratch(covered up by the toning)knock the grade down or does it have no effect? Overall grade again?

DO you mean the one over the face? That might even be on the mylar window of the holder. Could knock it down, I suppose, but VF seems like a good guess on this one. Me like

Jeremy-I thought the same thing, the seller did confirm a microscopic hairline only seen though, at certain light angles and disappeared at others. Hey! get back to crackin those books!

No, it would affect it if it were high grade MS but for a VF I wouldnt think it would change the grade at all.
