Registry Question

The registry won't accept current year coins into sets? Is that why it tells me a 2002W SAE isn't a valid coin in my modern proof type set? Is there any way to get it entered without having to wait until 2003?

    I don't think so.

I remember we had this same complaint last year, waiting for 2002 to put in our 2001 coins among teh modern sets!

I have the same problem, the only good news is that you only have to wait until the end of December (how close to the end, I don't know).

  • I entered my 2002W proof SAE last night. Try again.

    Walt,

I would be willing to bet that you entered that coin into the proof SAE registry set and not a type set. It's listed as optional for the SAE set and thus will be accepted, which is not the case for type sets.
