I just sent this coin in to PCGS. What grade do you think it might receive??GEM26D

looks like a 65RD to me... maybe even 66! Nice luster and very clean fields

I only figured on a 64 given the current standards

When I first looked at the scan, I thought 64, maybe 65. Then I read Dorkkarls statement, and went back for a second peak.....he might be correct. The coin looks funky on the highpoints. Could just be the scan though. Good luck with the submission.

66RD a couple of very small hits in the field, strke is good(ear could be stronger) luster is great!

picture is terrible to grade off of. Where is the reverse? With only half a coin I give it a 6 .

While it is virtually impossible to grade accurately from images (for me, at least), I would be surprised if this coin is called something other than cleaned or whizzed. It simply doesn't look right - sorry and I hope I'm wrong.

it appears 64rd to me.

very nice coin. I would still have bought it at 64.

If it comes back a 64 or 65, let me know so I can buy it off you. If it comes back 66, don't bother, I won't be able to afford it.

Assuming the reverse is equally as nice and makes it into PCGS plastic....MS64,MS65....63 seems too low,66 too high from what little we actually see of the coin.

Hard to tell from the photo and not seeing the reverse but I would say 65 on the low end and 66 on the high end. A really nice coin for a hard date.
