How do you like this original toned walker?

stmanstman Posts: 11,352 ✭✭✭✭✭
This walker is in a PCGS ms66 holder. You probably won't like this because on my scanner I couldn't capture the full beautiful luster and the iridescence of the colors but it is about the prettiest walker I have seen in person. As you can probably tell it has original surfaces and the original skin.

But still has the original frosty luster booming through. Thanks for taking a look.
A common date but not as common with the eye appeal this one has.

    Very nice!

I just scored this one today and haven't seen it yet. I'm hoping that the nice light green on the feathers is actually there in person.

    stman,

It's kind of ugly, and I feel bad that you're stuck with it so, to help you out, I'll take it off your hands.image

Thats odd on the reverse.Part of the coin doesnt seem to be struck.I really hate sound like I,m bashing your
coin but,I just can`t see a 66 for that weak strike on the eagles left wing.image

Sorry to burst your bubble too relayer....I'm hoping that the nice light green on the feathers is actually there in person

The green seem to be from a light source.Notice the same color on the plastic in the area.image

Thanks for all your compliments. And cam40, I appreciate your input but you need to understand to get the color to show with a scanner I need to tilt the coin. So the full detail of the strike doesn't show very well. I just looked at the scan and yes it looks weak on the feather and also eagles breast but in person it's all there.

Edited to add: but what you missed is there are a couple marks that do show in the scan not making it a perfect coin. image

    CAM40-

    Rut-Roh.

I was buying the coin and not the holder, so I wasn't looking there.

I guess I have to hope that maybe the coin is actually GLOWING and that is what caused the green hue on the holder?

Relayer, I think your walker will be fine. Even on the bottom rev of mine there is green that didn't show up. And to get them to reflect the luster through the colors is tough.BTW, congrats on that coin.

I'll have to wait until I see it in person I guess. The surface seems to lack the luster your 66 has.

    Anyway I'm sure I'll like it. After all it's a walker.image
