Just heard from Barry - he has received the coin and everything has worked out satisfactorally for both parties.
As far as some of the 'chastising' I received for commiting funds I did not have in my possession - based on an e-mail I sent to Barry explaining a two-day delay in getting his coin shipped, I believe he now knows what those funds were used for.
And in similar circumstances, I would do it again.
