magic1fan is an UNtrustworthy Trader

"those of you that might see this more than once, I apoligize, and please bare with me for a few days, I would like for everyone to have a look.........and just to note, no need to respond, I'm not trying to start a band wagon, just being informative."
This is the FIRST negative I have posted about a specific trader and I've been here since early 2001....
magic1fan, AKA Roddy Lamont ****Morey Road, Lake City MI is an untrustworthy trader
magic1fan stated that if I didn't post this he would return the cards but if I did he might as well keep the cards.....and for the second time in the dealing I think I can trust that, but, I don't compromise principle very well so here you are.
On the 21st of Oct this trader agreed to send in a bubble envelope on Thursday 24 Oct, I said I wouldn't send until I received his cards, but, he seemed trustworthy and honest. I sent my cards on the 22 Priority Mail Delivery Confirmation, and he received them at 2:57pm on the 24th Oct, he acknowledged receipt and said my cards were on their way*, on Sat 26 Oct, I PM him and asked when he sent as I hadn't received them, he said don't worry the cards are on the way*, On Monday 28 Oct another PM to inquire about the cards, and he specifically said they were mailed on Thursday*, I received the cards on Friday 1 NOV, that was pretty quick considering he didn't mail them until Tuesday, post marked 29 OCT PM 2002 TRAVERSECITY MI 49686, hum, 1 day longer then my priority. The cards came in a letter size plain* envelope and the jersey card is tore, noting it was half out of the top loader when I opened the envelope it may well have been damaged in route, the rookie card that was also part of the trade was also free flying in the envelope, not too bad though, but two of the corners are no longer crisp.

Hope you have better luck then I had...

cards in just a regular envelope. I just spent $2.50 shipping on an ebay auction, and the card
came in just a .37 cent regular envelope. Lucky the card wasn't damaged, it was in a top loader
but there was no tape on the top loader to hold the card in. As for sending cards, I always
send in a bubble envelope. But I work 3rd shift, and the post office is a 20 minute drive away,
so sometimes it takes me a couple of extra days to send something, just because I can't
make it to the post office every day. And the post office closes for 1 1/2 hours for lunch too,
which doesn't help.
Not sure of his age, but he seems like he's a little kid. I've noticed that MOST little kids on here can't be trusted as collectors.
