Modern Silver (Non-State) Washington PCGS Proofs?

Folks,

Why aren't there any 1992-1998 silver proof Washingtons (PCGS, NGC, ANACS) for sale on eBay? Are they just not available, or is the market depressed for them?

How about the 2002's? I have a complete set rattling around in my pocket very slowly working their way to Braddick status.image

  • Russ,

I would sincerely like to see those as they progress. Please post pics from time to time.

Imagine spending a set of them just to light up some collector's eyes years from now image

I actually did that. I got two 2002 silver sets from the mint to grab the JFKs. I thought about submitting the SQ's, but they were so bad I got disgusted, spent one set at the grocery store and made the second set pocket pieces. Takes forever, though. They've been in my pocket, along with a SAE, for about three months and they're barely down to AU53.image

There are still surprisingly few advanced collectors of the eagle reverse quarters
dated after 1964. The silver Washington collectors apparently don't include these
    in their sets.

I have been having a blast "making" my PCGS Silver post-91 Washingtons (I can still afford the 69DCAMs).

Maybe an up-and-coming market after the State Quarters end?

It would seem that they'd make an excellent "bridge" between the states quarter
collectors and the silver Washington collectors. Though the obvious doesn't always
    work.
