my new Morgans with Wayte Raymond toning

I won these two on Ebay from a board member. What do you think of the toning?

  • I saw these a few days ago, was tempted to buy one, but the price got away a bit. I thought they were tip top myself.

  • What Toning?
  • My scanner didn't do a very good job in picking up the rim toning. I would post a link to the auctions where I won them, but the coin no longer appears on the auction pages.

Here is one I think came from the same seller. I won this about a week ago. It looks just like this in person with better luster.

luvdawgs, your coins do not look like wayte-raymond toning. stman's large image might be, the small image definitely is.

The 85 is nice & frosty and the 88 has a sharp strike. I can barely see any tone but I see some reddish brown periph on the 85. So who was this seller? I think I have done biz with the same guy you & stman are talking about.
Change that we can believe in is that change which is 90% silver.
