For kobe to still average 6.5 assists without two starters is ridiclious.

Autobilia tell me how 28.3 points 11.7 rebs 6.5 assists shooting 46% and 45% from downtown 2 steals OVERRATED WITHOUT TWO STARTERS

Kobe is doing everything he did last year but better period.

Look at scoreboard? You take two starters off any team and they will struggle to win period.

Like I said- You take michale jordan and then suspend pippen and rodman and leave jordan to play the utah jazz in the finals and you have yourself BRAND NEW CHAMPIONS

    oh it was ok to write a story on how kobe is uncoachable over 1 game on espn and for autobilia and mr. uwftke26 to say kobe is overrated over 1 game, but kobe has been averaging these numbers OVER 3 games and I can't say anything? WRONG BUDDY

    P.s bibby fan- kobe doesn't get to play many games without shaq so these numbers prove he can do everything he has with shaq and better without two starters. I can only imagine what his stats would be if the team was actually built around kobe. Can you say the big k aka the big oscar robertson

    uwftke26 I don't care what you think of me son- You obviously believed the story or else you wouldn't of posted it. Man your a spurs fan all spurs fans know whats up. How can espn write a story like that over 1 freaking game and then all these front running t-wack fans jump up all over kobe for having a bad game? Now kobe's averaging ridiclious numbers and he can't get any credit? I don't think so- I won't let it slide.Everyone got there mouth shut.

    Those numbers are basically on that Clippers game. What is shooting % before the Clippers game? Kobe may get a quadruple double against the Nuggets. Why is it that he can't put up those numbers and shooting % against a playoff team? hmmm.

    guess you didnt catch the boxscore when the lakers played the blazers

    kobe had 25 pts on 9 of 18 shooting , 10 rebounds along with 2 blocks. and if other guys didn't shoot 1-8, 2-10 he would've had more assists..

    by the way, last time i checked the blazers were a playoff team

    p.s we seem to be battling for the top spot in our league..that is untill you get shaq back

    Since you like to compare stats... before tonight's game.

    Glenn Robinson ... 32 ppg, 51% shooting, 7.5 assists, 7.5 rebounds, 100% from the free throw line, 3.5 steals. He has a higher scoring average and assists and shooting % than Kobe.

    Oh, and tonight, Glenn Robinson scored 30 points, 50% shooting (10-20), 90% from the free throw line (9 for 10).

    So, now, what's your point?

    Tracy McGrady hasn't had a problem winning the last 2 seasons w/starters that would be on the end of any other teams' bench

    I'm not faulting Kobe for the Lakers struggles.The Lakers need a total team effort to win when they are w/o Shaq.However,they also needed a spark to get the entire team going.Look at Jason Kidd.He went to a team that was used to losing and got them to the finals.Stephon Marbury had basically the same exact team as Kidd,but he couldn't get the job done.

    Kobe may have put up good numbers the first 2 games but the difference between the first 2 games and the game against the Clippers is the Lakers beat the Clippers.I hope for LA's sake the comments made by Tex Winters was the spark they needed.

    Kobe's not a great leader yet.I think he needs more time w/o Shaq to become a true leader.He's had the most dominant player on his team since he came out of high school.McGrady was w/o G.Hill for 2 season and developed into a player that can single-handedly win a game.Kobe just hasn't had time to develop....as scary as that sounds....lol

    TO ANYBODY WHO THINKS KOBE IS ON PAR WITH MJ;

    I offer you this. With MJ-- Pippen is Voted one of the top 50 players in NBA history. Without MJ-- when Scottie is on the Rockets or Blazers he looks a few steps from riding the pine.

    When Kobe can take a guy like Robert Horray and make him into one of the Top 50 of all time-Ill agree with anything you kobe lovers have to say-until then,............Kobe is awesome and probably the second best player in the league and on his team.

    mcgrady had a good game tonight and I can actually admit that- Non kobe fans can never admit kobe has a good game though.

    And tony tune for you too compare robert horry to scottie pippen is a motha f-ing joke son.

    jordan and pippens bigtime rival in the finals were stockton and malone.

    SHAQ AND KOBE WOULD CRUSH jordan and pippen period. Even phil jackson said they would of not wanted to play this lakers ball team.
