What to look for in submitting 75's for grading ?

Hi Guys,

I am contemplating sending in some 75's for grading and I need some input.I have 3 full vending boxes that I bought a few years ago and would like to know what to look for in the way of defects that PSA looks at in grading these cards and also, what are the lowest pop cards in this set that might bring top dollar if I was to sell them.I collated the boxes after I got them and the sort was suprisingly good and I was thinking of taking advantage of the grading special. Also, for those of you that mentioned it, I changed my logo and upgraded my 56 set with a couple of nice cards that I traded for recently.
Thanks,
Vic

Tipem> It will depend on what grade you're expecting on your submissions. With more information, I'll be able to give better help.

So full of action, my name should be a verb.

  • Hi Mike,

I appreciate the reply. I am looking for at least 8's and would really like to see 9's.The cards in my vending boxes are real nice but I have heard rumors of "snow" that detracts from the grades.I would also appreciate some info on low pop cards from this year.I have also seen some words to the effect that 75's in PSA 8 are almost not bringing the cost of grading on the open market. Can you elaborate on this also?
