Cheese of the week award

Comments

  • Hi MurcerFan,

I am still a little new to this board. Does Cheese mean Cheesy? Like this guy is trying to swindle someone? I have to wait until the auction ends and see if there is a winner because I have some really nice PSA 2's that look like 9's.

  • That card is a very nice 6 maybe it would grade a 7 maybe not ... However before making any judgement I would ask to see the back....

MRICHARDS - I have been on these boards for awhile and I have no idea what MURCERFAN is referring to. If the card is a high end 6, his Buy It Now is in line, plus his reserve could be much less. A PSA-6 for this Campy SMR's at $1,100. while a 7 is at $1,900. Perhaps he is referring to the age old ad description that the seller uses that the card "shouldda" graded higher...jay

    murcerfan...

According to the sellers description...This is a lock!

<<<A strong PSA 7 for the PSA 6 price. Don't miss this. Satisfaction guarenteed.>>>

The two last words in his description would mean that we all should be opening our wallets right NOW!!

    Thanks for the post!

All my PSA 6's are strong PSA 7's too!
They would all regrade 7 maybe 8.........
I just can't seem to find that darn PSA address to resumit themimage
Don't get me wrong, this is a fantastic card, a well centered 6 and it would fit in my 6&7 set except it is probably too nice, heck.....let's just say it's a psa 8, now that's a bargain!
  • Hi Jay/Guys,

The funny thing is I am selling a card on Ebay which was a PSA 7 twice and I was trying to bump it to an 8 and it came back a 5 and in a tall boy holder. I got so disgusted, I just listed it. It may sound like a sales pitch on my end, but in this case, it was the truth. I still have some ncie PSA 2's with the centering better than some of my 9's.

    Later,
