Bought a date run of proof sets from him once, and they were really poor quality. He exchanged the sets for decent ones, but I got the feeling he never looked at the sets he first shipped. Hope that helps.

Two months ago I bought a PCGS 1936 Cleveland 50 cent commemorative on eBay. The transaction went smooth. The image was decent and he sent the coin pictured in the auction. No complaints from me.
yea, he is the only one seller to ever block me I believe.
He had a freakin hissy fit when I left him a nuetral becuase he didn't send me the item pictured and didn't have a disclaimer on his auction stating so. He still doesn't use disclaimers on his auctions and I wouldn't buy anything again from him anyway. He was a real ass IMO.
I bought some unopened proof sets from him. They were as unopened as any others on ebay I guess. In a 1961 set I found one of those blue nickels that was real pretty and I liked it so I slabbed it - PCGS gave it PR67.
Since they were unopened, I can't give an opinion about the picture vs what was received.
I've bought from him 3 or 4 times.......always nice to deal with.......never anything high dollar though, mostly proof sets......in fact, I got my 1969 PR69DCAM 25C from a proof set from him. I've always had speedy shipping and good packaging etc, with him.
I just received 4 blue Ikes from him for a Dansco Album I'm putting together. Not bad pricing, fast shipping, decent packaging therefore no real complaints since the Ikes weren't high ticket items.
I won one of his auctions for a PGCS MS65 Iowa Commemorative half. The coin had a fingergprint on the obverse that was not mentioned in his description of the coin. I returned the coin and received a refund, but he still couldn't figure out why I would want to return it just because of the fingerprint.
I purchased some proof sets from him once, the sets were all as described, and his service time was average. Overall, a good experience. No complaints.
By the way, when I tried replying to this yesterday I found this site had stopped working!
