The BEST Customer Service and Turnaround! Look in HERE!

Folks,

I submitted my 1894 IH (G-VG) to a trusted name in encapsulation services... PGS. My cent isn't the most valuable in the world, but it has tons of character, it is my favorite IH, and it could probably tell great stories about where it has been in the past 108 years.

I sent my cent away to Pushkin Monday - with an extremely reasonable encapsulation fee. I received it today! It graded G4 in his opinion (an opinion with which I truly must confer). The encapsulation will protect it for many years to come!

Also, as one of the inaugural customers, I received a surprise that made me sit down! The 1894 had come with a AU50 1903 IH! It has lots of red left in the corners and crevices, and comes with the same great capsule. (Sorry, Pushkin - I don't know if I was supposed to mention the freebie - I was just flabbergasted with joy!)

I think I'm starting to like looking at these IH cents... (Kennedys still have center stage, though!)

Pushkin, you're an excellent fellow, a true gentleman, and are truly one of the super-coolest people I know! imageimageimage

The least Pushkin could have done was to leave a big fingerprint on the obverse. I bet he graded it in 4 seconds.

I don't see any cheese or bread crumbs in those either. Obviously a rookie grading service.image

  • So how much are the grading fees and where do I send my coins to? image

And I don't see any serial number so I can check to see if it's an authentic slab or not!

You were wise to send this in raw -- Pushkin is brutal with crossovers and I suspect it's all a business ploy. I've heard rumors about coon cat hair turning up in some of his holders as well.

Very cool, and nice touch with the 1903. It's great to see a fellow IH cent lover luring another collector into the Penny Mafia!

Does this Grading Service grade all coins or just Indians ? Is Net Grading offered ? Where do you get a Submission form and the formal way to submit the coins ? Does this Company have a Registry for its clients ? Lastly, will the Grading Standards stay the same through the following years ? Opps, almost forgot. What is the cost ?

    Thanks Much.

  • Folks,

All fun stuff aside, the service was great, professional and fast. I was truly pleased with all aspects of his encapsulations!
