Has anyone any tips on preventing proof sets from developing a haze on them or a way to get rid of the haze.

no advice on preventing haze but you could find out about cleaning haze off of silver and gold if you search the forum using the word 'dip'
I've removed haze before by dipping silver and gold but some people really don't care for dipping

Some sets are going to develop haze no matter how you store them. It can start as a problem that ocurred during the minting process and progress over time. The only solution if it happens is to crack them out of the sets and dip them.
Other sets just seem to stay pristine and pretty.

I did this and the only thing that came up were Kincoin threads!
