Enlightening PM I'd like to share

braddickbraddick Posts: 24,776 ✭✭✭✭✭
With the permission of the author, who wishes to remain nameless I offer this PM I received earlier tonight.
I couldn't have expressed these feelings better myself.

My error, I see now the Cut and Paste doesn't cut it! His ICON is still visible.
Please disregard.

Or, in the case of Whitefish, maggots. We used to fish for them in the winter, and the maggots would die from the chill, so we'd tuck them in our cheeks to keep them warm.

Sometimes, silence can be more "enlightening" than the spoken word, depending upon what is spoken!

Of that which we cannot speak, we must remain silent.

    -- Ludwig Wittgenstein
"The essence of sleight of hand is distraction and misdirection. If smoeone can be convinced that he has, through his own perspicacity, divined your hidden purposes, he will not look further."

William S. Burroughs, Cities of the Red Night

Proverbs 17:28 Even a fool who remains silent is considered wise, and the one who holds his tongue is deemed discerning.

Better to be thought a fool than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt -- Mark Twain, based off Proverbs
