Does anyone know where to get Christmas cards with numismatic themes?

It actually isn't hard to set up one with bluemountain or another. If someone has a web site here, they can look into it. Might be a great advertising tool to get people onto your web site...

Received a card from Heritage a few years back ....a snow man with coins for buttons....it was great...let us know if you figure out how to do it.

Do you mean something like this which comes with an 1986 1/20 oz Isle of Man Gold Angel mounted in it that has a Christmas Tree mint mark (its on the right above the tail). There was also an 1987 version that came with a 1/10 oz Isle of Man Gold Angel that has a mistle toe mint mark in the same spot.

I bought one of those Isle of Man Angels back in 1987 for $89 when they first came out.

After trying to sell it many times on eBay, I finally set a no reserve auction and it went for $45.


There are many places that will take a photo you provide and turn it into a Christmas card, so you may have to make your own.

My wife would be as thrilled with coin-themed Christmas cards as she would be about cards showing Erich Hartmann shooting down IL-2's over the Eastern Front (in other words, she wouldn't like the idea).

Here is one from Christmas past, an original BTW commem card the memorial used for promotion. I searched years for one before finding this one in a card dealers inventory on ebay. I don't recall seeing any modern numismatic related cards on the market so this might be a business opportunity for someone?

Hey Carl (ClankEye- love that name)... Yes, these are fun items to collect as original commem memorabilia is quite interesting. I am active in this market & always looking for the rarer material like this card which came from ouside numismatic circles. I have no idea how many were issued or are still out there only finding 2 counting this one, the other was not for sale. Well who knows- somebody might have a box full in the attic?

TRUTHTELLER may have run across one in his travels so he might be a resource? Mine is not for sale & I turned down a 1K offer although I don't believe a value is established for this item. Hope this helps...
