Barber Dime ? 1912 D/D Any Info?

Does anyone have any info on the 1912-D/D Barber Dime? I can't find anything on it. Along those same lines, does anyone know of a good refereence book on the Barber Dime? I'm writing my Christmas list to Santa and want to ask for one....

the only book on Barber dimes is the David Lawrence book.........but it is outdated and fair at best

Thanks for the info. I was just at Radio Shack and picked up their 60x to 100x lighted microscope. At Just $7.00, it works great for picking up things like the D/D on my dime. I also found a 1942-D Merc with a RPD. I'm still hunting for a good book on Barbers though. Matt

Lawrence's "Guide" lists three RPM's for 1912-D...there are probably others...

"Guide" needs to be updated...there have been many discoveries in the Barber dime series since
1991 when Lawrence published "The Complete Guide to Barber Dimes"...

speaking of 1905-O micro O...i found one of these and an '08-O in a dealers junk box about 12 years ago...

i paid $5.00 for both coins in very fine condition...
