1943 Steel Lincoln pennies

I was just reading an article on 1943 Lincoln steel/zinc pennies and I discovered an old thread on the subject on this forum from last August.With such an interesting history,I wonder why these unique coins aren't more in demand by collectors. Or are they? Twowood

I feel they are in tremendous demand, the good news is that their are a lot around. I bought a roll for my five year old son to learn about magnets. Everyone who sees them, like them. The Federal Government made billions of them for us.
