Great minds apparently think alike. I was thinking about posting a Coins Are Cool thread myself. Sometimes we lose track of the coolness factor with these small pieces of metal, or so it seems. Isn't that what gets us started in the first place?
To my freinds who look at me kinda funny when I say I collect coins, heh, heh, heh, they just don't get it and I smile quietly and internally. They don't know what they're missin'......

moursund,
The 1913 Liberty does kind of look like a linebacker for the Pittsburg Steelers, but I assure you that held in hand she has all of her boyish charm.
It's just the angle the shot was taken and the lighting; I've been doing a little experimenting with coin photography. There was no design change.
