Attention everyone: Don't deal with Calikev

He's a 13 yr old kid that has no idea what he wants or what he is doing. It took him about a month to send me my cards when we dealt, but he still got my box (over 700 Rice cards) within a week.

Also, it's been about a month now since he's said he's wanted these D.Thomas cards that I have. We agreed to the deal, and I told him to PM me his info and to send out the GU card. He never PM'd me, and never sent out the card, and it's been over a month. I recently asked him if he still wants to do the trade, and he's like "kinda", but he STILL won't PM me his info.

What's the deal? All I have to say is not to deal with him. He's too young to be reliable as a trader.

Do you even COLLECT? I have NEVER seen you make a post about looking for cards. You only reply to other posts to sound like a jerk or play contests because you want something free.

Chill out...And yes my friend, I do collect. I don't feel the need to "post about looking for cards" as I don't collect anything/anyone in particular, I see what I want, and PM people about those items, is that wrong? Now, on to this comment:

Since when has age played a factor? You're 12/13 if I'm not mistaken. Not much younger/older than Calikev, so is it safe to say that YOU are too young to be reliable as a trader and that we should not deal with YOU? I'm not questioning your status here as a great trader, from what I understand you're one of the best, but why make a statement like that if, by your logic, the same rule would apply to you?

I thought this collector was a little older than that. I know that the other collector is 12/13. You are right though, age shouldn't make a difference if they have references to back them up. Everyone on this board could complain about someone if they got their card a day late or they didn't e-mail them back when they wanted them too. Personally trading is becoming a joke with all the bad trades and other bs.

Age does matter because a young kid can't be held responsible for a bad trade. Legally they can't enter any type of binding agreement.

Cut the kid some slack. It's only a piece of cardboard.

Also, try emailing before you come to the boards, it's only fair to give the guy/gal a chance to explain.

Wait a minute, why is this kid even complaining when their is no possible way he lost anything seeing "EVERYONE MUST SEND FIRST!!!!!!" Too bad if the person sending to him took as long as they want. Sure he had to hold on and wait, but oh well, that's the way the ball bounces.

Crunchy, I made the comment because he is a child. He does not take responsibility for anything. He always makes up stuff as to why it's taking so long for him to send or when he receives stuff. ALSO, you are dead wrong. I am a lot older than him. He is not a reliable trader because he's 13 for 2 reasons: he makes excuses/doesn't take responsibility & he has no way of getting the items out when he's suppose to unless his parents take it for him (even though he said he lived like 3 blocks from the PO). There was another 13 yr old on here (don't remember name), but he was a good trader as far as I know. THAT is fine with me, but my main argument is the fact that Calikev is too unreliable.

ndleo is right about the contract thing also. It wouldn't have been a big deal if it wasn't $100's worth of cards.

Crunchy, he's on instant messanger, and I've talked to him many times about it.

Superstar, the biggest deal is if I had an agreement with him where I trade him a card that another person wanted from me and offered me a better deal. A respectable trader would stick to his word and complete the 1st deal unless it fell through. When I contacted him about someone else making an offer for some of the cards he wanted, he "said" the cards were on the way and to just wait. I did another week and still no cards. After that week, I had lost all contact with the other person because I lost all my e-mails when my computer crashed. ALSO, depending on several things, I DO consider doing deals around that rule.

hmm.....yet he still said he was "kinda" interested in them. He also has "I collect Kevan Barlow, Jerry Rice & Derrick Thomas." in his signature as a collector with 2 posts on here. Looks like he's stopped collecting all right.

If you LIKE to collect them, then don't tell me you DON'T collect anymore (2 different things). My point is that you never completed a deal we agreed upon, and it took you over a MONTH to send like 15 cards to me, but only took a box of Rice cards (like 400+) to get to you in a week. Kind of strange

Could be over 700 for all I know. I know there was more than 400 though.
