Another Pedigree question (proof and mint sets)

Now that they've instituted all these small sets with a proof and mint set for each year, are these eligible for pedigree? And if so when? Personally, I hope not --- or at least that they wait awhile. Right now, anyone can register a proof or mint set and be in the top five (you can be number 1 in many of them, since there are no registrants yet). Allowing a pedigree in a brand new set with a minimal number of registered entries seems to somewhat "cheapen" it.

I agree with some waiting period to allow good sets to get registered/be built before pedigree is allowed.

I very much feel my idea in this thread Right Here makes even more sense with all the new sets.

Well, Russ, we've both been summarily dispatched to the hinterlands of numbers 3 and 4 in the 1964 set (the current #1 is likely to be there a long time with 5 pr69DC and a pr68DC accent hair).
