Opinions on Monster Toned 1924 Peace, Please

I couldn't resist this coin despite the lougee on Liberty's face. What do you think, is she a keeper?

I think I overpaid a bit, but Anaconda's got one just like (1924 NGC MS65) less the lougee for $750.00

Excellent buy in my opinion. Rainbow toned Peace Dollars are scarce.

I'd say you just bought yourself a coin you will enjoy for a long time, isn't that what this is really all about. As some one mentioned you don't see many Peace Dollars with this much toning. Way to go.

I saw Morris's 24 at a recent show. It's a really pretty coin. Stman (John) as has a really nice 24 for sale that might have more toning but is only a NGC MS64. I thought it would only bring a 63 if you tried to cross it. Morris's coin, I think is a solid 65 though. Color vs. Grade, which is more important.

Morris's 24 does look like a nice one. Really want ArtR's icon Peace dollar or one just like it! Will be watching Morris's and check into Stman's also. Thanks for the heads up!

by the way.....what are you doing collecting Peace dollars? All I see in you links are "proofs".....stay away from the Peace dollars.

The one on Liberty's face is the one I'm concerned with, the reverse water spot/stain appears to be much lighter. I have to wait to see the coin in person, but I think its a keeper.
