This might be an interesting auction for you Lincoln people.

Thirty five pounds of Lincoln cents. It's not one of those dutch scoop of wheats auctions. It's for the whole load.

Thirty-five pounds is about a bag (as he notes (5000)). They've been easing up in price for the last several months. It should be worth about $125 to $150 but you never know the value these "non-collectors" put on their coins.

Wonder how many of them are 1944-d's. When I was a kid, I used to hate that.image

    Wayne,

That's an interesting question. He set a reserve in this auction, but not some of his others. I just sniped off five 1964 sets from him for $38.50. He had no reserve in that one.

    Russ,

Yeah, I can't tell you how many e-mails I get from "non-collectors" who've come across a 194x and 195x Wheat Cent in an old cigar box their uncle had (or whatever) and think they've hit the motherlode. If this guy is selling other coins, he may very well have an idea of their value.
