I'm sure you know that at pop 228 and rising, the 38-D is not "super rare" in 67, simply because none have been graded so far by PCGS in 68.
I'm presuming you were being ironic, but the uninitiated would not know that. Caveat emptor applies, but since you're asking for opinions good and bad, I'd eliminate any claims in your ad to rarity, as misleading.
it is a scan at 400% i am just useing all the suggestions from the board as of this moment there are none graded higher by pcgs so it is not a lie i just left out the fact of how many there are in 67 what i got from every one is hype, low start price, good pictures, low shipping, and the word rare sells coins so i am going to try it
You should add two items on your auction. #1: Postage & #2: Return policy. Also, I bet your coin looks nicer than your scanner shows. It's hard to get the red color and luster on a flatbed scanner. I now use a digital camera. See my MS67 cent auction: 1942 D CENT Nice coin...good luck!
Jamie, It's a pleasure to now see photos of the coins your offering! Admittingly, I haven't bid on some of your auctions only because there wasn't a scan. I know that's not a very good reason (you have thousands of positive feedbacks with no negatives and the coins I have won from you have been great!), but it's now the nature of eBay, I think.
I haven't used many pictures before because of the poor quality of my scanner images. With my new digital camera, it's easier and produces accurate images (although toned coins are still a challenge). I broke down and bought one as I am selling marbles under another ID and found it necessary. I don't bother scanning generic slabbed items as I just don't have the time.
