I use it all of the time. Have all of the coins on there and the prices that Heritage gives seem to be a good indicator of what you could expect to sell the coin for. Also use the prices for buying stuff. Neat little tool for collectors IMO.

Thats the neat little thing about it. Last week I could not find a reference price for a certain coin anywhere, so it got entered into my set and in a few seconds the price showed. Next step is convincing the seller that is close to the correct price.

I've used the Heritage site for "My Collection" for well over a year. It is great to see the current values which I believe are closer to reality than CU or Numismedia. I just wish they would add back the post 1958 Lincoln prices, at least on the expensive coins. They had them on the site awhile back, but then dropped them. My 1972DD, 1990 no "S", 1995DD and 1992 DCAM in PR70 add up to a few bucks, but don't show up on their value list so it isn't accurate for me. Steve

As far as convincing a buyer/seller as to the value in "My Collection" simply have them refer to the 'price guide' as it has the same prices if you register.
And finally print out a copy of your collection after your major upgrades and keep a copy for spouse, your will, safe deposit and with the coin cache if you are a collector. This would no doubt be too cumbersome for the dealers and their turnover.
Hope some of this made sense.

man, that 1905 if awesome
I have to agree with BSqr, that 1905 Barber is stunning OldCameo!

Wish some of my coins fell in that category. When I look up values for mine it usually says, "don't waste my time"
But seriously, that's a good indicator you have a hot or high-end coin.
