Need opinions from the folks that have been to this show. Is it worth the 700 mile drive down there ? Is it a Mess to Find ? Can it all be taken in within one day ?

I see some National Dealers are listed as participants. Also Heritage has a Auction going. This is about the closest bigger show for Myself. Thanks in advance.

  • It is not as big as Long Beach. I think you could probably see all the slabbed Mercury dimes in one day.

But if you do make it down I'll buy you lunch, that has to be worth a couple bucks image

It's the biggest show in Northern Cal. And pretty large at that (guestimate about 10 rows of 10 or 15 dealers on each side). You can easily take it in during a day, but better if you could spend more time. I'll be there on Friday morning and Saturday late morning/early afternoon. Hope to see you and other forum members there.

  • Santa Clara is a very good regional show with about 200 tables. Many east coast dealers show up and several set up tables. 3/4 of show is coins, and 1/4 is stamps and sports collectibles. Sometimes recognized NFL and NBL players show up for autograph signings. Recommended!!!!

    Portland, Oregon.

Love driving and probably will take a week off if I can swing it with the bossman. Sort of want to stop in Santa Rosa on the way and check Jack Beymer's stock of Mercs before Santa Clara. Would like to find a few other places also. Heck could be broke before getting to Santa Clara.

  • Hi Ken,

    You are on!

BTW Jack Beymer will most likely be at the show.

Fairlaneman, I think Jack Beymer does attend this show. Don't know if he will have all the mercs with him though. But if you can see them at the show it would save you a lot of driving. He's probably 3 hours from Santa Clara.

It will turn out to be a major show in years to come. Stop by my table there and say hi.
