Somewhat OT.....scanner question for coins, bought a new one.

In addition to my Mavica, I may try to use my new all in one printer for some scans.

Anyone have or try a Lexmark X73??

any tips? tricks?

    Hey Goose..

    I know you have seen some of my scans, And I use the (Hp OfficeJet G55) Printer,scaner,copier,fax system..
    It seames to work great...

    I have the Lexmark X83. I have the defaults set to open the picture with Paint Shop Pro for editing, and to make the scan a jpeg when scanning to an application.

    I have the lexmark x83...... It's really hard for me to get a good scan, it dulls the luster a lot!

    I've havne't had much luck scanning my gold slabs
