See the title... the majority is done! The rest is what I know but need to back up with sources... not what I need to learn and rewrite
The only porblem... I know want to collect:
English coins from around 1000-1300... the hammered ones (and later ones, too... to the 1700s)
I want to collect Greek coins... especially the ones with Athena and the owl
I want to collect Roman coins
I want to collect hammered coins
I though the $35 for shipping to/from ANA was expensive enough for the paper... guess I was wrong (US coins are yet to come... so lets see where that takes me...)
Jeremy
PS- at least I am going to a show a week from tomorrow
PPS- how 'bout some words of encouragement! I started writing at 1 pm and have been reading a lot and writing a lot and eating a lot (and breaking a bit)

Just like in World History class when we had to write a 5 page essay on the rise & fall of the Roman Empire. "It rose. It stood. It fell. It's now a tourist attraction. So what?" 1 sentence on each page didn't qualify as 5 pages according to the dork teacher so I had D- in that course too. I learned a lot more about the Romans from collecting coins & going to Sunday School.
Going to school really sucks.

Numismatic Displays of Art and Culture (oooooh... sounds impressive! [especially when I had to define numismatics for my teacher... who does teach Latin, too ])

Physically, coins represent art and culture in numerous ways. A massive number of coins were made through the use of sculptures, and are thus small copies of an original, hand-made piece of art. The designs embedded in a coin may represent the culture of the country or civilization which produced the coin, such as the images depicted in ancient Greek coins, numerous world coins, American commemorative coins, and the United States’ state quarters. Finally, the method of manufacture of certain coins, such as proof coinage, can become another form of art.</SPAN>
