2x2 instead of 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 for PCGS Submissions?

I was getting ready to make my first submission to PCGS (some modern silver dollars, modern $5 gold, Ike Dollars, and Kennedy halves) and discovered that the submission form requires 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 flips. I had bought 2 x 2 safety flips. Is there a problem submitting the coins in these smaller safety flips? I have to take silver dollars out of their mint capsules to get them to fit into the flips, but they do fit. If there is a problem I will pick up some of the larger flips at the Nov 2-3 OKC coin show.
Thanks, Charlie

In addition, if PCGS relies on the 2 1/2" flip size in their handling procedures (which I think they do), it may be that your coins will be removed from the 2" flip in receiving and stuck in some flexible PVC-riddled 2 1/2" flips while awaiting grading.
Even if they leave them in the 2" flips until the grading room, it can be difficult to get big coins out of without touching the coin, which could lead to fingerprints.
Finally, when your grades relies on the graders' subjective opinions... you want them to be in a good mood.
So, I'd follow the rules. I recommend only E&T Kointainer SAFLIP brand flips, by the way. A few more cents but insignificant compared to the cost of grading.
I would not use the 2x2 flips for larger coins like dollars (not crapajaweas), but for smaller coins they should be OK. I know PCGS will accept them. However, as Supercoin mentions, they might be tougher for the graders to get your coins out of, possibly leading to fingerprints.
You can get crown sized (2.5x2.5) saflips at www.kelgory.com. They accept PayPal to confirmed addresses.
2 1/2 x 2 1/2 flips? Wouldn't that make it more difficult for the graders to remove them without putting fingerprints on them?
