    Please, if anyone is overrated it FSU!! And all the other Florida Colleges. Miami is the only true contender, but their haveing troubles stopping the run.

    You just reinforced the fact you know nothing about college FB. If you're going to post about a topic at least have an idea of what you're talking about.

    And as others have said, all the Florida schools EVERY year are over-rated. Miami is the exception this year as some of the others have been in other years.

    Notre Dame overrated?? LMAO... yeah.. sure buddy. BTW.. Air force... #1 in running this year. Notre Dame has a dominating defense.. who once again... took over a game. And boo hoo about a 1 point loss... a loss is a loss.

    Not only is Nebraska not in Notre Dame's "conference," but neither is Air Force. I think the number one reason for this is that Notre Dame doesn't play in any conference. You should really consider watching some college football sometime.

    I'm a huge FSU fan, but I admit.....as long as Rix is at QB, FSU will ALWAYS be overrated.

    Plain out, the guy SUCKS. He had what? 6 INT'S last year against Miami? Rix tries to make too much happen himself. If Rix would have thought about it....when Minnis was the #1 WR in '00 and Bolden was #2, Bolden should have been #1 when Minnis left, but he is like the #2 or #3 WR. Rix tries to run too much. Example, when Rix tries to "spin" for a 1st down against ND today. FSU was suppose to have a horrible defense this year, but it's pretty bad when the defense played better than the offense today.

    I agree with T though....

    FSU should have been undefeated going into today's game. Even the ND coach admitted to that:

    1 point loss to Miami (#1 team) because their kickers can never get it together

    loss in OT because Rix decides he wanted to throw a 25-yard TD pass on 1st play instead of trying to grind it into the end-zone



    As far as today, ND just had more heart. Any time FSU is an underdog (rating-wise), they lose heart. The offense just had no initiative of what I saw of the game. ND new they were able to beat FSU, and with their heart and intensity, they proved it with their defense. When ND's average starting position is on the OPPONENT'S side of the field, that's a HORRIBLE sign. You can't throw an INT, fumble the football, and bobble a kickoff return all on your side of the field and expect to win (no matter HOW good you are).

    ND has won UGLY, but at least they win... don't get me wrong, I'm a Florida boy (born there) and a HUGE FSU fan, but they are HORRIBLE with Rix.

    Bobby Bowden is a God, he'll be the winningest coach in a year or 2.

    If it was me I'd throw Rix on the bench and let their backup (who's name escapes me) get in there and PRAY that Rix 1) transfers or 2) tries his luck in the draft

    College football is great and this arguement proves it...

    It's idiotic to claim that FSU "should" be undefeated, just because previous games were close. Good teams win those games, and FSU is not a good team this year. Quit making excuses.

    i liked mpherson today, but rix, is a competitor, he trys to hard 2 win, i for one love rix...
    dont get me started, please tell me all the tough games that they have Played in? yeah ok...
    we got NC state, and Florida left... should win the acc title, and go 2 like the sugar... but i think neither team deserves the national title, especially not the hurricanes, or ND....
    they need more strength in schedule..
    ohio state, i think will win it all!

    if u did a little research... a big reason why Notre Dame is ranked so high in the BCS is because they have what is ranked as the #1 hardest schedule in the nation.

    not unless maurice clarett can stay healthy... he is gettin a little banged up. i mean he didnt even get to carry the ball more than 4 times against penn state


    this is what is so great about college football, its not all about the $$... players are out there to play... and you never know what is gonna happen

    T1Mac once again you've proven you know nothing about College Football. As someone else said, ND has one of the toughest if not the toughest schedule out of ANY team this year, hence the reason they will be ranked #3 or higher in the BCS standings.

    Will someone please explain to me what is so darn hard about Notre Dame's schedule? Michigan isn't very good, Air Force just lost to Wyoming, FSU lost to Louisville, and Michigan State and Maryland are terrible.

    And for that matter, just who has Ohio State played that is so great?
