eBay nightmare bidder

With all the knocks we give dealers I think it is only fair to step back every once in a while and see what they have to deal with. This guy burned a dealer friend of mine a while back and I see he is still operating. Ebay is clueless and should have NARUed this bozo over a month ago. More importantly, dealers/sellers should stop him from bidding.

It's not just eBay -- the burned sellers should submit their NPB/FVFs. Once he gets three FVFs against him, he'll be automatically NARU'd.

Here's nightmare bidder number two. Note my comment about her previous NARU.

OK, I was used to military and medical acronyms for 35 years, but can't translate some of the above. Please assist me with my eBay linguistic challenges:

    NARU
    NPB
    FVF

    Thanks,

I'd much rather have a non-paying bidder, then the guy who pays with fake money orders.

  • I don't know about you guys but I know I'd pass on any person, buyer or seller, who is a nonregistered user with 6 bad check raps against him. Where are the buyers brains? Twowood
  • Russ-at least she "only" fails to pay. The one desertLizard pointed to appears to have sent bad checks for items costing hundreds of dollars! (Sounds like some of my wife's tenants with their rent checks!!).

Correct me if I am wrong , but isn't passing a counterfeit money order accross interstate lines fall
under the jurisdiction of the FBI or the Secret Service? Isn't negotiating a counterfeit financial instrument
a felony? Or does it have to be a specific amount. This guy is a monster!!

Yet another good reason not to leave feedback when you get their payment. I wonder how many of those people who posted positive feedback for this scumbag got checks that also bounced.
  • I checked the auctions the first guy had won in the last month. Every one was either gold/platinum bullion or some sort of high-priced electronic device. I feel sorry for the sellers who think they've sold a $1000+ item, only to put up with bad checks and counterfeit MOs. Let's hope they take the necessary precautions on personal checks they receive.
