I hate sellers with a very high rating that don't leave feedback back

Does anyone else have this problem? I have bought many cards from sellers, a couple recently, who had very high feedback yet they never left me feedback back, even when I emailed them to ask them to do so. I mean its not like I would be more respected if I had a +130 rating instead of a +120 rating, but I just have a problem with these sellers/buyers who get all the feedback and then never leave any back. Has anyone else ever had this problem? I mean it shouldn't be difficult anymore to leave feedback. This isn't the olden days (3-4 years ago) when in order to leave feedback you had to find the auction #, go to his feedback area, then punch in the #, then leave the feedback. I can somewhat understand if people that did alot of buying/selling didn't have the time to seek out every single auction they won or sold and leave feedback, but that has now ended with the feature that allows you to see every single auction you wonm or sold and heavent left feedback for yet. And then you can leave multiple feedbacks. So if your a power seller I mean all ya have to do is type is "Great buyer, sent payment fast, A+++++" then copy it and paste it to like 100 buyers. I mean its quick and easy. But apparently these people still cannot find the time to do that. I dunno, this is just something that has really been ticking me off.

  • i agree 100%. They always ask you to leave feedback for them, but never leave any for you. If i got feedback from every deal ive made on ebay, id have at least a rating of 100, but right now i only have a rating of 38(couple hundred total, but only 38 different people). I usually am a repeat buyer, if I buy something from a guy, and everything goes good, I will definetly buy from again, even if I have to pay a little more. It just ensures you get a good deal. Seller should have to leave feedback first anyway, they get the money first. If they havent left you positive feedback by the time you get the cards or whatever, then dont leave feedback for them. image
  • Don't leave them a feedback until they leave a feedback for you...image
http://sportscardsheriff.com has over 8900 members and over 35,000 documented trades. Check it out if you have not already.
  • But see then you have a problem because then no one would leave another feedback. if people just waited until the other left feedback there would be no feedback left.

  • i always ask them to leave me positive feedback when they get my payment because i have fulfilled my part of the transaction. Then i always leave them good feedback when i get their stuff
Rest in peace Josh, we'll all miss you
  • As a seller, I leave feedback as soon as payment is recieved. As a buyer, I leave it as soon as the item arrives. I may be naive, but that seems like the obvious way it should work.
  • They should leave feedback when payment is received.I pay by Paypal whenever possible and usually the same day and some sellers don't leave feedback!! I usually will e-mail them and ask that feedback be left if I don't see it within a few days.Shouldn't have to ask though

  • I don't understand these sellers who don't leave feedback. Most of them are using automated software to list, invoice and leave feedback (I use one, it's very easy). With two clicks of the mouse, a seller can leave feedback. It's not like they have to re-type the same feedback over and over.

Keep at it, leave your feedback when it is warranted. But, email the seller a few times to ring his bell and remind him that it is expected. Doesn't ebay have some sort of rule about this?
