It doesn't LOOK cleaned, just circulated.

Hard to judge if it was cleaned. Looks nice VF on the Obv, strong F on the reverse.

It's funny how the wear patter on bust halves can be so varied. On this coin, the wear in the hair is more like an XF, but the drapery lines along the boosom are gone.

Placid, what makes you say it's cleaned? I need to learn this so i don't have to keep posting every aution i want to bid on

Its black everywhere thats hard to clean. inside letters like O and D.
Inside numbers like 8 or the top of 9.
Around the base of the stars and around the outline of the figures.
It dosen't scream harsh cleaning(no cleaning scratches visible) but it does look like it was cleaned up to me.


The scratches in front of the chin are more of a concern to me than light cleaning as most bust halfs have been cleaned in some way or another over their life time.
