I think it may help to be a little more in focus... it will help the details show up better. The shot could also be a little lighter. Nice coin and nice pic

tonedollars - great coin! I didn't know they came in that color.

I use a tripod, set my camera to delayed shot (I make the camera jiggle every time I hit the shutter button), get the camera farther away, and take a full-res shot, then crop & reduce for web sizing and fast download.
