  • That doesn't mean there fake, no need to accuse someone and ruin their rept. Some sellers just use the same picts that float around on ebay to attract more bidder by showing them what the card looks like. Why don't they use their own pict of their card? One reason is they might not have access to a scanner , camera, etc. As for the J-Wll auction he even states that the cards is #36/100 which is a different serial # from the other J-Will Auction w/ the same pict, so its not like he is selling the same card that was already sold by the other seller.

  • I am sorry but to do this with limited feedback and list some of the hottest cards in the hobby, ex the Bonds Tiffany 10, the Williams auto, a Brees/Vick Topps Premiere auto of which I have only seen about 4 or 5 in a year up, and a Vick Topps Premiere Auto, seems all to suspicious.

    i wanted 2 c fake auctions!
  • This buyer has a feedback in the 12K's with only 27 negatives. I'd say he is a legite seller. And I imagine that when you sell a ton of items maybe the easiest way to show them (if they are like PSA 10's or whatever, is to just have one scan and then post that every time instead of sitting there previewing and scanning every single card you are going to sell

  • I know ALOT of legit sellers that use pics from previous auctions. Some dont have scanners and some like someone else said have many of the same card and use 1 pic.Myself when I buy a card on ebay I always save a pic from the auction in case I decide to sell/trade the card later,I dont have a scanner and thats the only way I can put up pics.I'd only be worried if a seller had 0 or a ton of neg feedbacks.
  • If you read the description on the Bonds card, it is misleading seeing this is what they wrote.

"The item pictured, is the actual item being sold."

Well if they don't own that card, with that serial number that they pictured, then it isn't a picture of the actual item being sold now is it?
  • I can't believe that you guys are backing this guy up. Take a look at more of his auctions, now has a Jordan/Ervin Dualk auto #18/50, but the # out of 50 is missing on the pic. This seller has 7 feedback and the 7 feedback accoutn for buys totaling a whole $80. His items for sale total a whopping $4000+, take PayPal which protects some but who cares, if the money goes out of his account right away, then you are left in the cold...excpet the ones that actually pay with a credit card. This is the only way I would pay from anything with this seller. Can U believe the Vick/Brees Auto is over $900!!! WOW

  • geez.
look at the inconsistency of his shipping prices.
    and the scans.
and he will ship int'l on some auctions but not on others.
    scam.

and on a side note, it is a breach of copyright to use someone else's scans without their permission. and claiming the item pictured is the item that is for sale is misleading and deceptive conduct.
