<< <i> I accept checks, money orders and Paypal only if payment is funded from your bank account or existing Paypal funds, NO CREDIT CARDS >>

    Please add:
And for those idiots who don't get it yet, you can't even use Paypal to pay me with your credit card. image
    ps. looks good to me.

  • That's a nice looking coin Bill. I'm ready to offer $500 right now. I can PayPal from my credit card right away. What-do-ya-say?

Now that I look again, I would say something like:

I accept checks, money orders, and I accept Paypal only if your Paypal payment is funded from your bank account or existing Paypal funds, NO CREDIT CARDS

change "only if" to "if and only if" if you like. image
  • Bill,

Not that there won't be some idiots out there and you'll still be foiled, but I believe that this description is considerably clearer.

  • Funny thing about your other thread is the same thing just happened to me today. I just had an auction end last Saturday for a 1983 Los Angeles Proof and in my auction I listed that Paypal is the only form of payment accepted. Well he finally replied to my billing invoice from PAYPAL, asking me where to send the check! Sometimes I wonder about these people.
  • Where is Mike?

Kind of funny, I had the same problem, I realized I would have to pay for EVERY transaction if I upgraded so I E-mailed the payer to one of my auctions and explained that I would send him two extra coins if he retracted his payment and paid another way....He said no problem and paid with a bank account threw paypal...

I ended up having trouble deciding which extra coins to send him so I ended up sending him 4 extra instead of two extra, needless to say, I received a possitive feedback from this transaction...Funny thing is, on the coin he purchased...I allready took a loss, then I sent him 4 more coins...lol, total backage was about a 40 dollar package....for 10 bucks with 2.50 S/I...lol

Oh well, at least I made someone happy. Besides I LOVE when stuff like that happens to me, si I like to share the enjoyment of the hobby with as many people as I can.

    Ray
