PSA AND PAYPAL ?

I am not even sure but can you use Paypal to pay for your PSA invoices? I was on the Paypal site and noticed that you can use Paypal to pay for many things at many different businesses. I noticed that the local electric company and the phone company take it, why not PSA. It would make it nice to pay for invoices and would probably increase submissions in the process. Plus it will help most dealers turn their money and cards over quicker, not having to wait 2 to 3 days to transfer funds from Paypal to a personal account. This could be a good thing. What do you think?

PSA accepts credit cards anyway, so it wouldn't be that much of a benefit for them to hook up w/ Paypal...jay
  • you certainly can use paypal

one way is to use your paypal Debit card
(that takes the purchases from your paypal balance
and even gives you like 1% cash back!)
    and their cards are free.

or you can even get them to assign you a unique
Mastercard number for a specific transaction
(if you don't have a debit card with them yet)

  • Jay,

Yeah I thought about that but in my case I do not want to use my personal credit card to pay as not to cause confusion with the wife( who tends to keep a hefty balance on the account and is easily confused ARRRRG!). I also thought of just opening a credit account with just card purchases and PSA in mind but thought that since I have this balance sitting in this Paypal account why shouldn't PSA accept it for submission payments.

BKAH is right the Paypal Credit/Debit card is what you and everyone else needs. It's almost like a Discover card.

When I first got it I was to understand you only get 1.5% cash back when swiping the card which has to be used as a credit card and not a debit card. For Example, when the merchant asks credit or debit you say credit.

If PSA accepts credit cards you probably could just use the Paypal card # for now but I don't think you will get cash back because they can't swipe the card.

Look into it,things might have changed since Ebay took over.I know the return on the balance went as high as 1.91% but is currently at 1.79%.image

    Good Point Rob....
In fact IF You use it as a DEBIT (like at a grocery) or use it at an ATM - then you WILL NOT get your cash back - and WILL be charged a "Transaction Fee" to boot!

so use it as a CREDIT card - but know that it is ONLY good for the amount you have in your Paypal Balance at the moment of the transaction!

  • You might want to take a look at a couple of websites before getting too enamored with paypal:
