New Member to the boards.

Hello everyone. My name is Carey I am new to the boards but have been a collector/seller since 1977. I am working on a few sets for the registry. I also am attempting to collect 36 packs of 1986 Fleer basketball with Michael Jordan #57 rookie on the front and the rookie Jordan sticker on the back of the same pack. I have 16 so far. If i can be any help to anyone here just let me know and i will not be bashful about asking for help.

    That would be quite a box of 1986 Fleer. Are you sure that none of the 16 packs you have already were tampered with?

    Nothing is 100%. i can guarantee 8 as i pulled those myself over the years from sealed cases. I had thought about sending to get them graded and have even talked to steve at gai about it. not high on my priority list right now.

    Knowing absolutely nothing about these packs, I must ask...

    How do you know what is on top or bottom of a wax pack
    without opening it?

    Most packs are partially transparent. You can see the cards through the wax. But of course, cellos and racks are the best for enjoying the top and bottom cards without opening the pack. image

    Warning to all members of this board. This guy is on my list!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Here's a sample of the abuse he puts me through.

    He emailed me several days ago informing me that his wife had suggested that he donate all of his Canseco cards to the Children's Hospital. His reply to her was he considered that to be cruel as the children were already sick enough.

    Seriously, Carey's a great guy! (just keep your hand on your wallet)

    it is bad enough to be a canseco collector but for you to tell everyone. i have just now been able to go out in public without sunglasses and a hat. now i will have to move my daughter to a new school. the shame
