I'm really begining to like the Jeffersons they are difficult, but not impossible.
I'm am not so good picking Quarters.
I got a lucky cent, but I would rather be more consistant.

By all means look for more full step Jeffs!
It would be a nice coin to look at.

Now the sad part is I had ALL of these 92-D's pegged as solid 66's the 94-D's I had hoped 2 might make a low end 66 and I hand picked the 72 proof set for a solid 69DC set. All in all, I got 1 coin right. And I'd bet that was the one I thought had a borderline shot at 67 if I cought them on a good day. This one was a big waste of time and money for me. I can't even really say I learned anything as I studied these as hard as any I had ever submitted and blew it worse than ever. Best thing I had going for me was turnaround. Seems since I didn't get any good grade someone felt sorry for me:

I must have got the new guy or some grader was having a bad day!
That 89-P quarter in MS62 is cool. Give it to braddick for his set.
Brian.
I'm thinking it has to be an issue with the strike. I would have predicted 65/66 grades the 1970 was pretty sweet.
I got these out of mint sets that I had fairly good previous results
with some kennedies. I would be interested to know what id's a washington quarter as having been fully struck.
I usually look at the breast feathers on the eagle.
I think I have a clear handle on the nickels. Cladking is right there are few jems in the mint sets.
This is good practice as I have been buying up some 50's nickels. 10 rolls - No full steps.
I will now try and pick out the nice ones and send them in. being 'classic' coins the price of submission
goes up.
Bradick if your out there, pm me and that ms62 is all yours.
