Need some advice from Jeff Nickel Collectors

Could you look at this picture and tell me what the diagonal line is and as hard as I have tried can't discern if this is FS or not. It resides in an old NGC holder 45-D. Thanks. The hair above the B&U is courtesy of the NGC slabber.

I can't tell about the steps from the picture, but the line appears to be toning-related. My best guess is that the coin was stored at one time in a little Kraft envelope, and a fold touched the coin where the line appears, making the color different. My second guess would be that it was the end-coin from a roll, and the paper roll did a similar thing. (It does not look like a scratch or hairline from the photo.) Hope this helps.image

Thanks BNE, you are correct that is a toning line.

From the angle of lighting it does not appear to be FS, but it's so close I can't tell for sure.
