USA Coin Collectors

Hello,
I have seen most of the coin collectors from USA are interested in USA coin, and very few seem to be interested in world coins. This makes me feel awkward, collectors should collect and appretiate coins from other countries also. If you exchange coins with people from other countries you will give people of other countries a opportunity to know about ur coinage and its importance. I will sincirely ask the collectors to think about this.

Please consider that just because someone is a member of the U.S Coin Forum, it does not mean that
they only collect U.S coins. I also collect the British Commonwealth extensively. Please also try the
World Coin Forum on this site. A great publication is World Coin News by Krause publications.

I am not talking about this forum. I was saying if i see 100 collectors from USA i don't see more than 5 collecting world coins.

Well, coin collecting is like most other things. There will be preferences and everyone is entitled to them. I have a whole big lot of foreign coins from Spanish colonial 1 reales to Greek and Turkish coins from when I was there in 2000. But I focus on American coins in general. But I always root around in the foreign coin bins because I never know what'll catch my eye.

US coins one of the most poular kinds of coins to collect and if u live in the U.S. it is easier to get them. U can learn about your country, they are also worth much more than coins from most other countries.

U.S. coins are my main collecting interest. Yet I also collect Canadian Commemoratives and World coins in general. I have coins from 427 places around the world.
