PCGS book

Yea, I just received a copy of the Offical Guide to Coin Grading and Counterfeit Detection published by PCGS. As a newer collector, I didn't hear about this book only only a few months ago. And it has been sold out and out of printe for a while. After searching the internet for weeks, finally found a new one for issue price of $29.95. Most expensive I saw was one for $89 on Amazon. Ouch! But after a quick glance, I absolutely love it. So much better than Photograde in my opinion. Better sign off and start reading!

I third that opinion...it is a nice book. It explains the intermediate grades much better than any other book. Intermediate being a term of my own making....so don't slam me for it. It's what I call the circ grades that aren't the "base" grade for the letter....for instance, G6, VG10, F15, etc..

I didn't know it had been out of print, though. I have recently seen copies for sale at cover price in Barnes & Noble.
