Check this ANACS Photo Certificate-You too Conder101

All I can say is wow what a slab!
As you can see it consists of 2 plastic sleeves, a photo card, a 2½x2½ flip and several flip inserts & stickers, a poly bag and a 1897 Morgan (my favorite) and disassembles quite easily.
So Conder101 how do I get this thing restored to ORIGINAL configuration or is any of this mess even original?

  • Ok that is a fifth generation ANACS certificate. This one is interesting because it is the latest dated certificate of this type that I have seen and it is dated 20 days AFTER the earliest dated sixth generation certificate that I have seen. I don't know for sure when that variety began. The earliest one I have seen was from August of 83, but the latest of the fourth variety was from June of 82. So there is over a years period there which I can't definitely assign to one or the other.

They only parts of what you have that are original from ANACS are the certificate, the coin, and the 2X2 with the barcoded sticker on it. the other 2X2 flipsare probably from previous owners (provenance). The rest of the plastics were added after it came back.

Hey thanks for the great info. You got a good eye too, I hadn't noticed the 2x2 flip inside the 2½x2½ flip. The barcoded 2½x2½ is unusual because I hadn't seen that size flip until about 2 years ago, never mind 1892, all I had seen was 2x2.
So what kept the coin & certifcate together, nothing?
